Jo has been creating and decorating celebration cakes, cheesecakes, slices and biscuits for the past 40 years.
Jo’s passion for baking started at an early age baking with her mum. “...I come from a family of home bakers, I remember getting proper bakers mini tartlet tins off my grandfather and making neenish tarts. My grandfather was a great baker...”
After many years of baking for friends and family, Jo was asked to supply to a local café with home made sweets. Friands, Carrot Cake & Passionfruit Cheesecake being the must have favourites. This inspired Jo to open her own business in 2011 known as Jo’s Cakery, and now Flame Trees is where we find her creations today!
